The history of the longhorn is interesting, they are hybrids of Spanish and English cattle and are known for there extremely long horns, tough hooves, and general hardiness. The longhorn is truly the only cattle breed adapted to America. They were the first cattle to step foot on American soil and the only breed of cattle to evolve without human management. 

Through the mid 1800's, these range-rugged, big horned cattle multiplied without the help of a man. Our favorite longhorn pendant is brought to life in sterling silver by the talented hands of our silversmiths in Salina, Utah, where we treasure the spirit of the West.
