Handmade Boar Suede Boots
Dunn is the color, a warm sun-worn tan. Boar is the leather: a dense, fine-napped hide that wears like suede and holds up like the working leather it is. Handmade in Salina, Utah.
The leather
What boar suede actually is
A suede that behaves like a work leather.
Boar hide is tighter and more densely fibred than the split suedes most boots use. Brushed to a short, even nap, it takes on that soft matte hand you can feel through a glove. But the grain underneath is still full, so it does not stretch out, scuff pale, or go shiny at the flex points the way a loose suede will.
It also breaks in fast. A few wears and the vamp has taken the shape of your foot and stayed there. The nap darkens slightly where it creases, which is what gives an older pair its character rather than its wear.

The color
Dunn goes with what you already own
Dunn sits between camel and sand: warm enough to read as leather, muted enough to stay out of the way. It is the reason this vamp gets paired with everything from black wild mink to deep green velvet without either half fighting the other.
Against denim it disappears in the best way. Against a suit it does the quiet work a brown shoe does. It is the most-worn boot in the shop for a reason.
